It was an experience that revealed itself to be very satisfactory.
The process involved the dome design in 2d and 3d though Rhinoceros modulation software, and her calculation/evaluation through the plugin RhinoVAULT.
RhinoVAULT creates and explores structures that only works in compression. Both permitted to calculate structurally and formally the dome that was intend to construct on the weekend of October 26/27.
It Involved CNC fabrication of the cardboard to mount the formwork on the spot, and also for the production of the blocks with 14x7x3 cm of raw land, made in Telheiro, from the castle slope of Montemor-o-Novo.
