Integrated in the festival Utopia Boom Landing - after Boom. Held on August 11th to14th, in São Gião (Oliveira do Hospital). This project emerged with the intent to materialize the fundamental truth of the impermanent nature of all things... we now embrace the intention to create a whole new kind of event: the Utopia Boom Landing! There was music, healing, massages, sharing, meditations, talks and activities.
The project consisted in the earth grid integration as a constituent part of the scenery of the Chill Out area. The construction of the structure involved a parametric design being adjusted by the local constrains. The main raw material was extracted from the site - raft, reeds, clay, sand and straw. The software’sthat were used to create the algorithm and the model were Rhino and Grasshopper.
